Volunteer Terms and Conditions for Rock The Halls for Mental Health
By agreeing to volunteer for Rock The Halls for Mental Health (the “Event”), organized by Music For Mental Health Canada (the “Organization”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Commitment and Conduct: Volunteers are expected to perform their duties responsibly, arrive on time, and adhere to the schedule provided. Volunteers agree to conduct themselves in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner towards all Event attendees, fellow volunteers, staff, and participants.

Roles and Responsibilities: Volunteers will be assigned roles and tasks based on the needs of the Event. Volunteers are expected to follow instructions provided by Event organizers or supervisors and ask questions if tasks are unclear. Any changes to assigned duties must be approved by a supervisor.

Confidentiality: Volunteers agree to keep all sensitive information confidential. This includes, but is not limited to, information about Event attendees, internal operations, or other confidential details related to the Event and its organizers.

Liability Waiver: By participating in this Event as a volunteer, you assume all risks associated with your duties and waive any claims of liability against Music For Mental Health Canada and affiliated organizations for personal injury, property damage, or other losses that may occur during your volunteer work, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Use of Image and Likeness: Volunteers understand that photos or videos may be taken at the Event, which could include their likeness. By volunteering, you grant Music For Mental Health Canada permission to use such images or videos for promotional, educational, or other purposes without compensation.

Non-Disclosure of Personal Data: Volunteers will have access to personal information of attendees and/or other volunteers. Volunteers agree to keep such information private and to not share, discuss, or disclose any personal information obtained during the Event.

Use of Volunteer-Captured Media: If volunteers, particularly those in photographer or videographer roles, capture photos or videos at the Event, they agree to allow Music For Mental Health Canada unrestricted rights to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute these photos or videos for promotional, educational, or other organizational purposes. Volunteers understand that they will receive no compensation for the use of their media, though credit will be given.

Code of Conduct: Volunteers agree to maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment, free from discrimination, harassment, or offensive behavior. Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in immediate removal from the volunteer team and prohibition from future participation.

Termination of Volunteer Agreement: Music For Mental Health Canada reserves the right to terminate a volunteer’s role at any time if a volunteer’s actions or behavior is deemed harmful or disruptive to the Event or its goals.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Volunteers must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Event policies, including any health and safety protocols.
By volunteering for this Event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
